Terrence is a journalist and video producer from Brooklyn, NY, who uses film as an extensions of journalism, activism and academic work. He seeks to tell unique and compelling stories about Black and queer communities, immigration, and the legacy of slavery and colonization. Terrence has worked for ZEROPOINTZERO, VICE Media, The Marshall Project, ProPublica and The Associated Press. At ZEROPOINTZERO, he produced a six episode series on sex and survival in the Black South. At VICE, he helped produce documentary shorts on racial justice protests and environmental racism. As a fact check reporter with the AP, he dispelled COVID-19 misinformation spreading online. Terrence received a B.A. in Politics and a certificate in African American Studies from Princeton University. He earned his M.A. from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, where he focused on documentary, drone piloting, data and economic reporting, investigations, and community-driven journalism.
