Teo Weyman

Teo Weyman is a Canadian cinematographer, director and filmmaker with 10 years of experience across documentary, music video, commercial, and narrative. While based in Toronto, Canada, Teo’s documentary work has taken him across the globe. From the high Arctic filming polar bears, to Panama capturing one of the world’s most vital shipping lanes, Teo is happiest when he’s outside his comfort zone, exploring new places and meeting new people. Driven by a focus on natural and intimate visuals, Teo combines strong technical proficiency with the latest camera systems and a diverse understanding of lighting techniques and styles. This approach has led to collaborations on music videos for Juno Award–winning artists, Discovery Channel television series, award winning feature documentaries, and a wide range of narrative projects. Known for his attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and dedication to craft, Teo continues to push creative boundaries on every project. When he’s not on set, he’s usually hiking over frozen lakes or paddling his canoe with his two dogs, more often than not with a camera still in hand.
