Sarah's a German filmmaker based in Los Angeles. In the past eight years, she's worked with some amazing boutique production companies, creating unseen content for platforms like Hulu or German Public Broadcasting, and clients such as LinkedIn or the American Cancer Society.
She is currently working as a story producer and additional editor on a feature documentary about a New York–based artist. Earlier this year, she wrapped as story producer and assistant editor on the three-part Hulu docuseries Memphis to the Mountain. Her most recent project as a director, the feature-length documentary The Penpal, is set to premiere on German television in October 2025.
To Sarah, storytelling is key, regardless of a project's length or format. As a freelance editor, she edited docu-style commercial series for LinkedIn and Salesforce. Her documentaries SON OF THE SUN and SWIM FOR GOOD screened at various festivals.
An alumna of the renowned University of Television and Film Munich (HFF München), Sarah majored in documentary filmmaking and took masterclasses in commercial directing.
