Paola Gadala-Maria is a Brooklyn based filmmaker, born and raised in Miami, FL. Paola began her career in the documentary world, and has since expanded to commercial and narrative video production. Her projects range from producing feature documentaries covering the U.S. penitentiary system to directing and producing marketing videos for educational companies such as Scholastic. Paola recently worked as a story producer for the Netflix's documentary series, UNDER PRESSURE: THE U.S. WOMEN’S WORLD CUP TEAM, following the US Women's National Team and their journey up through the World Cup.
