Pamela Martinez is a Venezuelan director and editor with a dual B.A in Sociology and Film & New Media from NYU Abu Dhabi, and an MFA in Documentary Film from Stanford University. She’s interested in stories dealing with place, memory, and social justice. She has directed, produced, filmed, and edited 6 short films, with her latest short documentary being Presente en los Grandes Eventos (2025). Her work has been at Philadelphia Latino Arts and Film Festival, Seattle Latino Film Festival, UNAFF, Mimesis, RIFFA, among others. She has been a professor in Introduction to Film Production and a programmer coordinator at the Imagine Science Film Festival.
