About
Michael Dimmitt has been a professional video editor since 2003 and a camera operator for over 10 years. He is mostly interested in working on documentaries and has extensive experience working on music docs, most noteworthy co-editing "Until The Light Takes Us", producing, shooting, and editing "The Color of Noise", and directing and producing "A Wandering Path the Story of Gilead Media." He has also edited a bio pic called "Not a Tame Lion" about John Boswell, an openingly gay Catholic, who challenged the anti-gay position in current religion, as well as "Gun Trucks of Vietnam," a TV doc for the Inspiration Channel which hears from Vets about their experiences in the war. He also loves editing feature narratives, recently finishing up "Mississippi Scholar" and currently in post production on "Judge No Book" with director Christopher Mormando, who stars in the series Gravesend.
