Liala Layther

Liala is a New York-based editor with over a decade of experience across narrative fiction, documentary, and film trailers. Her path into editing crystallized through a documentary pitch and visual reference collaboration with The Marshall Project, and she has since worked across staff and freelance roles at post-production houses throughout the city. Most recently, she has been cutting a Spanish-language documentary for ABC as well as assisting on a 4 part HBO series with Change Content. She is currently based in Washington, D.C. for these projects, but is usually in NYC.
