Lauren Harris

Lauren Harris is a video director and producer based in New York City. With over a decade of experience, her work is hallmarked by transportive and thoughtful character-driven storytelling. Lauren has served as producer on docuseries including Hollywood Hustler: Glitz, Glam, Scam (Amazon Prime Video, 2025), and #CyberSleuths: The Idaho Murders (Paramount+, 2023), with both reaching their platform’s “Top Ten” list upon release. Before that, she cut her teeth at VICE, where she helped launch VICELAND, their cable TV channel. Lauren’s directorial debut, Pudding Boss, is in production. She holds a BA in Political Studies and International Affairs from Bard College and a MS in Journalism from Columbia Journalism School, where she specialized in Documentary. While at Columbia, she created Spread, an award-winning initiative connecting newsrooms with social video creators to reach new audiences with more rigorous journalism.
