Laura Durham

Laura Durham is the Director of Programming and Engagement at PBS Utah, where she leads the station's broadcast programming strategy and leads community engagement initiatives that connect audiences with a variety topics, from arts to civic dialogue. Her work centers on the belief that media can help people better understand one another and build stronger, more informed communities. Throughout her career, Laura has worked across public media, communications, arts administration, event production, and strategic planning, bringing together storytelling, collaboration, and public service. She is particularly interested creating welcoming spaces for public conversation and the role media organizations play in fostering deep thinking and connection in an increasingly fragmented media landscape. Laura serves as Vice President of the Public Television Programmers Association and has presented at the PBS Annual Meeting, the Public Television Programming Association Conference, the NETA Conference, and the Utah Museums Association Conference. She is also a certified Change Leader through the Utah Department of Cultural and Community Engagement and serves on several nonprofit boards focused on arts and culture.
