About

Kathryn started her career as an actor in the British television show 'Skins'. She has worked as an actor in the UK and USA for the past 14 years. As a writer-director, her first narrative short 'Jane' centred on a young woman living in one of downtown Los Angeles many low-income residential hotels. The film starred Gayle Rankin (GLOW, Perry Mason) and screened at Palm Springs, Austin, Short Shorts and HollyShorts film festivals. Her first documentary short, 'Gina' was made in association with Skid Rover and highlighted the relationship between a woman living on Skid Row and the homeless animals she spends her days caring for. The film won Best Documentary Short at Austin Film Festival and First Prize Documentary Short at Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival. Her first narrative feature, Ema, was optioned by 51 Entertainment with Agile Films attached to produce and Frankie Corio set to star. Kat lives in New York.
