John Moody is a filmmaker, city planner, and designer from Eastern Washington and currently based in Los Angeles. A storyteller at heart, he is motivated to help people see things differently, so they can better connect with each other and the places they live. Building on a decade of film industry experience (including four seasons on the set of Fox TV’s New Girl) and a master’s degree in city planning from MIT, John co-founded Invisible Cities Studio in 2016 to help people create inclusive cities and urban spaces using cinematic storytelling. He directed the award-winning films Redemption Square (2018) and the cerebral city (2015), and has contributed to several awesome design and documentary projects. He earned his BA in film and video from Pacific University.
