James Mieczkowski

James Mieczkowski is an Emmy-winning producer at PBS North Carolina, where he develops original programs and works with independent filmmakers to bring North Carolina stories to audiences across broadcast and digital platforms. His background spans documentary filmmaking, television and podcast production, with previous work for Our State magazine, National Geographic, The History Channel, and Time Inc. He is also the producer and host of PBS North Carolina’s music series Shaped By Sound.
