Jared Jakins is an Emmy-nominated director rooted in the rural Western United States. His feature-length and short documentaries have resulted in partnerships with PBS's Independent Lens, POV, The Atlantic, The Los Angeles Times, and Vimeo Staff Picks. These Festival award-winning films include Scenes from the Glittering World (2021), American Seams (2024), and Rat Rod (2025). Jakins has also served on the Oscar-qualifying jury for both Heartland and Nashville Film Festivals.
