Elon Justice (she/her) is a Kentucky-based writer and TV/film producer. A graduate of Western Kentucky University and MIT, she is passionate about revealing and solving the challenges faced by rural communities, especially those in Appalachia where she grew up. Elon is currently employed at Kentucky Educational Television, where she works as a producer for the show Kentucky Life and other nonfiction projects; in her spare time, she also runs The Appalachian Retelling Project (theappalachianretellingproject.com), a documentary storytelling platform that aims to combat stereotypes and share new narratives about the Appalachian region.
