About
Danielle Bender is a proud Miami native with over 10 years of executive level arts administration experience. She studied at Florida International University and holds a B.F.A. with a focus on fine arts photography. Recognized as a 2015 “Miami Leader” by the Miami Foundation; she received a certificate from Indiana University - The Fundraising School in 2015. She was also selected as a 2017 Emerging Cities Champion via 8 80 Cities and The Knight Foundation. Previously, Danielle worked with Miami-based arts organization Oolite Arts, running their Cinematic Arts Program. During her tenure in the program, she built up their micro budget feature film residency, their community documentary program, and their grants and commissions programs. She is currently the Director of Operations at The Video Consortium.
