About

I attended Purdue University, with a double major in Natural Resources and Environmental Science as well as Film and Video Studies. At Purdue, I worked for the Big Ten Network Student U as a Video Producer and Director. I was a camera operator for Elliot Hall of Music. I also worked for Purdue Agronomy making short videos for the department. In my senior year at Purdue, my student documentary Americus won the audience choice award. I was hooked on documentaries and earned a master's degree in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University. In Montana, I worked on short documentaries about falcons, bison, bats, and many other critters. In Montana, I directed videos for the Montana Climate Assessment and ran audio and second camera on the award-winning documentary, For Love of the Land. I directed a feature documentary on sea turtles and was the cinematographer on the feature documentary Sacred Steel. Today, I mostly enjoy filming on my C70 gimbal rig, lighting interviews, and editing engaging content.
