Chris is a Los Angeles native and longtime media professional with experience directing, producing and overseeing nonfiction projects of many kinds in the independent doc world as well as travel, lifestyle and follow doc shows for the likes of Discovery, A&E, Esquire and more.
With a background in sports features as a DP and field producer for Showtime and FOX Sports (boxing, MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL) Chris has worked all over the world and loves the ever-changing challenges that each production brings, whether it's coordinating a shoot in a remote location across language barriers or dotting all the i's and crossing the t's on a 1,000-item Carnet. Having started out as an assistant editor, he has a healthy appreciation for the importance of timecode and proper media management, and loves to find the sweet spot of interplay between all the tools and techniques of storytelling with moving images, from relationship building to cinematic shooting to thoughtful editing, intelligent infographics, creative sound design and more.
