About

Carmen Vincent is a documentary filmmaker and video editor who amplifies the human experience by drawing out authentic, diverse stories. Though proudly Midwestern, Carmen has collaborated with clients and told stories across the United States, as well as in the United Kingdom and Palestine. She is a Nikon Storytellers Scholar, a selected participant in Adobe's Creator Camp, and a Chicago/Midwest Emmy Award-winning producer. Carmen brings her lived experience with non-visible disabilities, including OCD, to her work with creativity, empathy, and curiosity. These experiences have sharpened her skills in divergent thinking, attention to detail, and transparent communication. She is deeply committed to challenging stigma and proving that people with disabilities are reliable, talented, and effective collaborators. Based in Northwest Indiana, Carmen works with clients virtually nationwide. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media from Valparaiso University and is an active member of several professional organizations including FWD-DOC, D-Word, Women in Media, and NATAS Chicago/Midwest. She is eager to contribute her technical and interpersonal strengths to meaningful storytelling pursuits.
