Carl (he/him) has always been interested in storytelling, specifically, the ways stories help people understand how they fit into the world. He has a background in documentary production for National Geographic, Discovery, Smithsonian and more. He has been obsessed with learning new things, constantly absorbing the work of many science communicators. He is particularly interested in the science of complexity and emergence, molecular cell biology, gerontology, and needs to find an outlet for all this information beyond his friends and family.
