About
John is a video artist with a broad skillset, working on numerous live events, music videos, multimedia installations, and documentary video productions over the years. After graduating from Emerson College in Boston, MA, where he worked as a Technical DIrector for Boston Underground Film Festival, he returned to his home of Washington, DC and became involved in the local art and music scene, creating live video art projections and installations at many events around the city under the alias Capsaicin. Through these connections, he also created several music videos for various music artists. He was part of a multimedia live performance act with Japanese-American musician Yoko K., which culminated in a performance at the Kennedy Center. During the pandemic lockdowns, he honed his skills with live streaming, building a small following on Twitch. Now that the lockdowns are over, he is seeking his next step which will allow him to combine his various skills and grow as an artist and content creator.
