Brydie O’Connor is a Kansas-bred, New York based filmmaker. Her narrative short film, GOING STEADY, has screened at festivals worldwide and won Best of Fest at an international event. Her documentary short, FRIENDS OF DOROTHY, will be released this year following a festival run. Most recently, Brydie was selected as a Female Filmmakers Berlin Lab fellow to continue work on her forthcoming documentary film. Brydie's producing credits include TAXI!, which premiered on Le Cinema Club, and a narrative adaptation of The New Yorker’s COLD LITTLE BIRD, and SANA QUE SANA for Elara Pictures. Brydie is an Assistant Programmer at The Bush Films series, an intersectional queer film series dedicated to showcasing work about and for queer women, trans and non-binary people, and she serves as an LGBTQIA+ peer counselor at NYC’s Identity House.
