About

Anthony William Wallace is a Canadian documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and award-winning composer whose work explores the relationship between landscape, sound, and environmental storytelling. Over the past decade he has filmed projects across every province and territory in Canada, collaborating with organizations and broadcasters including National Geographic, Discovery Channel, CBC, APTN, Canadian Press, and Canadian Heritage. In addition to his filmmaking, Anthony composes music for film and television and is the recipient of a 2024 Canadian Screen Music Award. His compositions have been featured in projects including HBO’s Heated Rivalry and multiple feature films. His interdisciplinary practice often connects filmmaking, orchestral composition, and site-specific sound installations developed in remote environments. Based in Ontario, his work brings together documentary filmmaking, music, and environmental art to explore how people experience and protect the natural world.
