Andrew McLain is a two-time Emmy Award-nominated documentary producer and director. His work focuses on personal stories that reveal deeper social and political issues. Most recently, he was a producer on _The Six Billion Dollar Man_, directed by Eugene Jarecki, which premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and was awarded both the Golden Globe Prize for Documentary and the L’Œil d’or for best documentary. This marked his second film to premiere at Cannes, the first being The King (2019, ITVS/Oscilloscope), which went on to have its North American premiere at Sundance and earned multiple Emmy and Grammy Award nominations.
