Logline

Filmed over a decade in Hawaiสปi โ€” through the pandemic and the Lฤhainฤ wildfire โ€” the โ€œMichael Jordan of Hulaโ€ teaches his ancestral dance style to a group of young men from the stateโ€™s most underserved town. Together, they chase a decade-long dream of triumph on the worldโ€™s biggest stage, even as they confront personal heartbreak and learn to transform loss into redemption.
